There are a series of low cost downloadable licensed videos which explain the key concepts of social networking available for $US20 each from Commoncraft.com. They can be previewed on line at no charge with no registration requirements or any of the other annoying things that go with sampling on line product.

This one explains Twitter.

Others in the series explain:

Those used to purchasing high quality training videos will see a dramatic shift in pricing from the $1000 plus charge that we are used to, without any real loss in quality.

The delivery method - via download is also incredibly convenient.

I found out about the videos through a post to the Yahoo group TRDev, in a  contribution from Michael Greer, who hosts the site Bestfreetraining.net.

1 in 15 men and 1 in 200 women are born with some form of color blindness. More develop problems through injury, as a result of disease or just by growing older. For the vast majority red or green hues blend into the background.

How do things look to colorblind people?

This page from Webexhibits.org shows how a flower is seen by people with variations in the way that they see color.

Check your own images at this web site – you can upload an image, even a Powerpoint show and see how it will be seen by others.

I tested one of my slides – one that uses shades of both red and green – just to see what others saw.

This is how it appeared to people with a red/ green color deficit:
